Portsmouth, NH continued...

It was hard to believe that just over a month had passed since we were last in Portsmouth. With our Maine adventures behind us, it was a bit sad knowing that already we were heading south once again.  The cool fall weather (in the high 60’s) reminded us it was time to do so before the real cold weather had a chance to settle in. We stayed at the yacht club on a mooring for Thursday and Friday nights, and once again, couldn’t pass up the $3.99/lb lobster which we feasted on for dinner Friday night.  On Saturday morning we moved up the Piscataqua River to the Prescott Park town docks that are nestled right in the heart of downtown Portsmouth.  This remains one of our favorite spots.  We spent a quiet Labor Day weekend here and were visited by Ann and Vini Olivio and their kids, Sarah and Jamie.
